How to Apply Your Press-On Nails
1. Prep
- Wash & Dry: Wash your hands thoroughly and dry completely to remove any natural oils.
- Prep Cuticles: Gently push back your cuticles using the wooden stick.
- Buff & Clean: Gently buff the surface of your natural nails with a mini nail file, then wipe each nail with an alcohol pad to clean off dust and oil.
2. Apply
- Fit Your Nails: Match each press-on nail to your natural nail size before applying.
- Apply Glue/Tabs: For Adhesive Tabs (Short-term wear): Stick the tab directly to your natural nail, press at all angles, then peel off the protective film, and align the press-on nail. For Nail Glue (Longer-term wear): Apply a small drop of glue to both your natural nail and the back of the press-on nail.
- Press & Hold: Place the press-on nail at a 45-degree angle near the cuticle and press down firmly for 15–20 seconds to prevent air bubbles.
Pro Tip: Avoid water contact for at least 3-4 hours after application to let the adhesive fully set!
